In case you were wondering, here
are some of the results of my social media marketing campaign:
I am proud to say that we
have successfully launched and promoted the industry’s first interactive career
management site dedicated to the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) career within
the pharmaceutical industry and marketed it entirely through Social Media channels. Since we started our company, I have been able to
network and get MSL professionals from around the world involved with our
social media campaigns. As a result, we were even featured at 3 international
conferences in London and Berlin. In fact, we collaborated with a company
called eyeforpharma.com on the creation of the first ever, international KOL
program where my husband, Dr. Samuel Dyer was invited as a Featured speaker and
a moderator at the meeting in Berlin. To utilize his expertise in the
pharmaceutical field, we decided to also create and launch another website MSLCORPORATION.com
to serve as a platform for MSL consulting and career management advice.

And now, here are some
analytic figures:
As I continued to network,
implement the marketing strategy, and develop the business, traffic on our
website increased of over 700% in the first quarter. Our statistical reports
indicated successful global penetration of our social media campaign. So far,
we have also increased the number of
registered users through our extensive social marketing campaign resulting in a
70% increase in registered candidates within only 2 months. We not only increased
the number of registered companies and recruiters by 43% within the first 2
months, but we also increased our sales (online job postings) by 30% from the previous
month. After I created a sales letter and sent it to 1,200 MSL professionals globally
(managers, HR, recruiters) we received a 25% increase of online registrations shortly
after. Just from the previous month we were able to build relationships with
270 new customers, which is a 45% increase. Since we first launched we have initiated
various promotion campaigns involving social media and press release
announcements that have been featured in large media companies including PC
Magazine.com.
This
has been an intensive and interesting journey, but this initiative wouldn’t have
been possible, or as successful without the help of new technologies and social
media platforms.
